Avatar, the Most Hijacked film on the Internet
Science fiction film Avatar occupied the top spot as the most widely pirated films throughout 2010. James Cameron filmed the movie is downloaded 16.6 million times. The data told a file sharing site TorrentFreak.
In the second sequence, the most widely pirated movie is Kick-Ass with a total weekly reach of 11.4 million times and Inception movie, 9.7 million times. The number of internet users who download Avatar exceed the number of downloaders in 2009 Star Trek movie that is downloaded 11 million times a year ago.
The existence of sites sharing movies and music, was assessed director James Cameron’s Avatar has hurt the entertainment industry, 3D technology also has not been able to stem piracy.
